1. I’m not exactly uplifted from yesterday, because despite my remarks, you once again made photos in such a way that people were purposely included in the exposures. |
2. Now I really have to consider seriously whether I should destroy the film so far as these people are exposed in them. |
3. I really don’t have the slightest objection against three of your closest friends and two of your children, but I do against the fact that three dangerous factors are also exposed in these pictures. |
4. The material intellect of the three is so weak that they cannot think or act spiritual-intellectually in even the slightest form. |
5. They indeed think they can do this, but they succumb to a malicious self-deception in this regard. |
6. Their consciousness-based material intellect is so underdeveloped that they can only think in purely material forms. |
7. They imagine that spiritual intellectualism is the same as material intellectualism because they don’t know the difference. |
8. This is very dangerous for our cause, which is why I’m forced to figure out whether or not destroying the film is necessary. |
9. If I really must do that, I still have enough options for that, before the negatives get back into your hands. |
10. Early in the morning, I explained that I would provide proof for the fact that certain people live, think, and act completely outside of any rational swinging wave, and that for these reasons, they even doubt everything that they see with their own eyes. |
11. Therefore, I made an effort to make my ship visibly launch and take off for all eyes. |
12. I even tried to fly my ship directly over your waiting friends, with whom was the mentioned person, who lacks the necessary consciousness-based capabilities. |
13. But as was to be expected, this person doubted my ship as such, even though this one could see it with this one’s own eyes. |
14. I checked this one’s thoughts very closely and found that no cognition or realistic view whatsoever lit up in the person in question. |
15. This one’s thoughts were vainly doubts, unknowledge, and material-intellectual. |
16. This material intellect was so prominent that this one could not even notice the penetration of my thoughts, while this fact became clear to the three others, however, though they did not understand the process and the actual meaning. |
17. They felt my mental penetration as a cooling of the head lasting seconds, which they evaluated, in unknowledge of the process, as a draft of wind or waft of air. |
18. There were also certain doubts in their thinking, but these were of an understandable nature. |
19. When you made the second photo series, I first became angry, and I only allowed it because I was not yet clear about whether I should allow these photos – and I’m still not even now. |
20. I said already that I still must first decide about this. |
21. Therefore, don’t be disappointed if I destroy the film under certain circumstances. |
22. But I would once again give you an opportunity after that to take new pictures, but then only people who are serviceable to our cause should be photographed. |
23. Please understand this, because if you yourself cannot come to the decision, then I myself will have to decide, and that’s exactly what I’ll do in the next 24 hours. |
24. In a particular manner, I became seriously irritated over the one daughter of the doubting man, because in her consciousness-based inability, she nurtured material-intellectual thoughts that were very malicious in their form. |
25. But I don’t want to mention them to you because they would be too insulting toward you. |
26. I find, however, that even a purely material-intellectual human being should maintain decency and rationality, even if he doesn’t make his thoughts audible. |
27. And it is just such human beings whom you should not include in your group, as they have a destructive effect in all respects. |
28. Form your group with human beings, to whom rationality is own in a great Creation-connected form, because material-intellectual rationality is unfortunately not enough in this respect. |
29. If both forms are not connected, then it means annihilation and destruction. |
30. Such one-sided rational beings are those who inhibit the spiritual and consciousness-based progress of the individual human being and of the masses and who constantly spread new irrational teachings. |
31. Such beings are responsible for the fact that malicious religions, sects, and irrational teachings can proliferate and that the true spiritual teaching falls into disrepute. |
32. I’ve already explained several times the how, when, and why of the visibility of my ship and of the sole contact with you; despite these facts, however, rationality is not able to prevail in the mentioned solely material-intellectually thinking persons. |
33. They constantly criticize my directives and don’t try to understand my reasons and mode of action. |
34. Their lack of rationality and the same lack of intellect don’t let them recognize the facts, that in their way of thinking they will never gain spiritual and consciousness-based progress in this life and that, as a result, they are far outside any knowledge, task, or competence in our cause. |
35. They themselves don’t understand their constant equally directed questions and critical doubts, whereby they also don’t understand everything that I’ve already said and explained concerning them several times. |
36. So they also are not able to understand that irrational violence can only be broken by rational force, and that’s exactly what I’ll have to do now; for although you know that violence can only be broken with logical force, at least in this case you act against your knowledge and ability. |
37. You know very well that such doubtful persons are unserviceable to our cause in every respect, yet you still have not excluded them from your group. |
38. Hence, I see myself forced to apply a form that excludes all pertinent things. |
39. So I am issuing the determination that you are no longer allowed to inform said persons about the things and occurrences of our contacts. |
40. I don’t want to and cannot forbid you contact with them, but I issue the determination that you are to keep other important things and information from them. |
41. Should you not comply with this determination, then I would have to break off our contacts, even if I could not find another contact person. |
42. I don’t want to interfere in your personal concerns and decisions, but this cause is not yours alone, because it fundamentally goes out from us, on account of which we also reserve a certain power of decision. |
43. If I had to break off our contact, then I would be very sorry about that myself, because I have found a very remarkable person in you, with whom I feel very connected. |
44. Nevertheless, I cannot deviate from my given determination, unless the persons in question, or any one of them, would change their rationality and their intellect to a spiritual form, but that apparently still lies in the distant future. |
45. Therefore, decide for yourself which way you want to go – which way is the most valuable to you. |
46. I… |
Billy: |
… Ah. |
Semjase: |
47. Don’t interrupt me, please, because I have to speak now and cannot respond to questions or objections. |
48. I cannot relieve you of your decision, because this is entirely up to you. |
49. You have the “to be or not to be" in your own hands, and I’m not allowed to advise you for the one or the other, because you have to make the decision yourself. |
50. According to a unanimous decision from our side, I’m giving you 6 days to think, and I myself… |
Billy: |
I’ve already decided, Semjase. I wanted to say this just now. |
Semjase: |
51. Is that final? |
Billy: |
You know this. |
Semjase: |
52. I was hoping for that, but I did not dare say it. |
53. But it certainly won’t be easy for you, because I’m catching a lot of broken feelings from you. |
Billy: |
Damn, is that so important? I know very well that I have acted incorrectly. I’m just an idiot because I often have false hopes. So it was quite good that you told me the truth and read me the riot act. A beating would actually be appropriate for me, damn it. |
Semjase: |
54. Please don’t get excited, because not only you make mistakes – they also occur with us here and there. |
55. On the other hand, your “false hopes," as you say, are understandable to me, because I know your mode of thinking very well with regard to such things. |
56. But please don’t call yourself an idiot, because you don’t have one iota of such a state in yourself. |
57. On the other hand, you cause me pain when you so debase and insult yourself. |
58. I really feel a bad woe in myself because of that. |
59. I was certainly too hard on you, and you also are too hard on yourself. |
Billy: |
I’m about to cry, damn it again. |
Semjase: |
60. I really feel like it, too. |
61. Just why do such things have to come? |
Billy: |
I told you, because I was irrational and acted incorrectly. |
Semjase: |
62. Unfortunately, not everything can be predetermined, because we all have to make mistakes to learn. |
63. But please don’t curse anymore, because I don’t like such things. |
64. Although I know that these words are only expressions of embarrassment with you, when your feelings threaten to overflow, in the future please just let them be. |
65. Your honest feelings mean a lot to me, and you don’t have to hide them and debase yourself. |
66. That’s exactly what you want to do, though, when you curse. |
Billy: |
Thank you, Semjase, that was an open word. I will pay attention to your wish in the future, but please don’t be upset if it still happens every now and then, because one doesn’t cast aside an evil from one day to the next. |
Semjase: |
67. Sure, I know that you will try, because you are really very honest with yourself. |
68. I’ll remember that, if you yourself should forget. |
69. But now, I would still like to give you an opinion in brief on the book that you lent me yesterday morning. |
70. I have already occupied myself with a part of it. |
71. In and of itself, I find the work partly very valuable, whereas other parts, in turn, degenerate very much in a negative sense. |
72. The author of the book is not able to see clearly in himself, because he makes fantasy, irrational teachings, and reality into a single complex. |
73. It quite obviously concerns a human being who, despite some good knowledge of the truth, is nevertheless severely religiously biased and, thus, cannot distinguish unreality from the truth, because he does not know the whole truth and is religiously gone astray. |
74. For religiously influenced human beings, the work can give a valuable impression, but also for truth-recognizing human beings, if they evaluate the purely spiritual aspects. |
75. The religious-valuable impression means the usual irrational teaching, while the spiritual aspects are really valuable. |
76. This spiritually valuable, however, arises from the author unconsciously and without his being able to understand it or even to suspect or recognize it. |
77. Since earthly humanity now consists predominantly of religiously influenced human beings, the book means another work of irrational teachings, which will take its toll millions of times, just like the religious books themselves. |
78. At the moment, I can’t explain anything more about it, because I haven’t fully worked through it yet. |
79. But as it looks, it will yield no other aspect in the other parts either. |
80. I will return it to you at the next meeting, at which time I’ll give you further explanations if necessary. |
