I must prepare you for this through your thoughts over the coming months, for I shall lead you to many places on Earth in the very distant past and future and let you see both good and terrible things, which you will have to process mentally within yourself and on your own, without any explanations from me. All of this is, however, unavoidable, because through all of this you must learn and become strong in order to be able to cope with the task that lies ahead of you and with your life, which will demand a great deal of you and far exceed everything a human being can experience and cope with in their lifetime, even if they were to live well over a hundred years. And in order to cope with this, you are to be prepared for it even at your young age, and you have a great deal to learn and must also make a great effort in many respects, far more than is usually required of a human being on Earth. You must always remain humble and do nothing to draw attention to yourself, for your greatness will lie in your knowledge and skills and in your mastery of them, but never in standing out or otherwise shining. You will also be underestimated by your fellow human beings, also deceived, treated badly and misjudged, but you must disregard this and not allow any emotional reactions to arise as a result; rather, if any do arise, you must conceal them. You must learn this even at your young age, for it will soon be the case that you will master this requirement even before you start school.

And it will only be then that, after all this time and the data gathered over a year and a half, I will be able to make a fundamental and fair overall assessment of you, also determining whether you can develop the resilience in your thoughts and feelings, your psyche, your intellect and your reason with the necessary strength and fortitude to take on, begin and fulfil your task. And you will now simply give an affirmative or negative nod in response to my remarks, indicating whether you wish to take on this first task, for even at your young age, your intelligence enables you to decide whether or not you wish to learn and experience much over the next year and a half under my care. Then, after this time, everything shall begin when we meet face to face. And if, after this initial long period of mental learning, you pass my overall assessment to my satisfaction, then you will be able to express your refusal or acceptance – whether you are willing or unwilling to fulfil the task – not verbally or through speech, but by affirming or denying it through your own thoughts, for you will also learn the transmission of thoughts. As for what the next year and a half will bring you in terms of learning and what forms it will all take, there will be a great deal; however, later on you will come to understand much more about the head-covering, and it will also become clear whether you ultimately achieve the necessary resilience to cope, through your thoughts, feelings and psyche, with everything you will learn, see, experience and go through at your young age. And with that, I, Sfath, who will be teaching you, have outlined the first key points that will form the core of your studies during this initial phase.

I cannot answer all the questions in summary form, as some things I can only convey verbally and in strict confidence, as it is far too ‘sensitive’ for me to record the answers in writing and make them public. I must also adhere strictly to Sfath’s earlier instructions and, even in private, only disclose as much verbally as is necessary to ensure that nothing explained can be misused. Furthermore, Sfath has also instructed me to pass on information also only when a certain mutual trust exists on both sides, such that there is absolute certainty that no breach – and thus no betrayal – will ever occur in this regard.

As for my stance on politics and what will transpire politically, these facts – insofar as I am permitted to provide details – cannot be answered in a single breath. This mainly concerns what politics will bring globally in the future, which, unfortunately, will not be pleasant; yet I must not answer what this unpleasantness will be, which will indeed drag on for a very long time, as you have asked. I must remain silent on this matter, also in private, for as a boy I gave my Plejaren teacher Sfath my word never, under any circumstances, to speak openly about certain future events that we have seen and experienced together. With regard to politics, also, I promised Sfath that I would never concern myself with it in such a wise as to engage in politicking – and a promise given is, for me, honourable and, in any case, inviolable – so that I would only concern myself with it to the extent of saying what ought to be done. And none of those who believe in this delusional God give any thought to the fact that no such God has ever existed, but that this delusional belief in a God is based on the age-old adoration of highly advanced, futuristic travellers who visited Earth in ancient times and were hostile towards one another here, also waging wars, also nuclear ones. This is actually the origin of the Earthlings’ belief in a God or gods, from which a completely delusional belief emerged that has persisted for many millennia and still captivates the lowly intelligent today as a religious trap, namely through religions, as is nonsensically and murder-glorifyingly proclaimed in Christian, Jewish, Islamic and other religious guises, such as “It is no sin for a soldier to kill in a just war", “he who owes obedience to the commander does not kill himself, for he is an instrument, a sword in the hand of his user" (Augustine of Hippo, De civitate Dei, undated). Or, for example, the persecution by King Herod, whose infanticide (2:16 EU), flight and asylum in Egypt. Attempts at stoning, imprisonment, interrogation, torture, mockery, etc. Also various blanket calls to violence in the Bible, such as “Now kill every male among the children, and all the women who are no longer virgins; but all the girls who are untouched, let them live for you’ (Numbers, chapter 31, verses 17–18). Much of religious belief is hostile to human life and geared towards a very malicious form of violence, and in many cases all this has been absorbed by the majority of Earth-humans and has shaped their character in a self-educating, unpeaceful manner. Consequently, violence and strife are subliminally ingrained in the character of human beings themselves, consequently, he reacts immediately with ferocity and possibly with Gewalt, defending himself verbally or physically in this manner whenever something agitates him. Thus, his peacefulness is merely a pretence, which is immediately revealed as a lie as soon as something occurs or arises that goes against his grain or does not correspond to his opinion, or when he feels verbally attacked.

This, whilst the vast majority of Earthlings are violent people who lie to and deceive themselves regarding peacefulness, because in truth, Gewalt lurks beneath the surface of their self-taught character; Gewalt which is unconsciously and hypocritically suppressed in daily life, yet breaks through quickly and often even in a flash at the ‘right opportunity’. Quarrels, hatred, blows and thus Gewalt are then what actually and truly form part of the ‘order of the day’ of the hypocritical, feigned peacefulness of the majority of Earth-humans, who constantly cry out for peace, yet conversely, through their state-sponsored, armed murderous organisational armies, spread Gewalt, death, ruin and destruction, as well as grief, misery, hardship and suffering.

Why the Nokodemion Lineage Must Not Be Understood as a Family Tree, Heredity or the ‘Rebirth’ of Individual Human Beings.

The Nokodemion teaching itself is the identical teaching of the fundamental Creation-energy, the ‘life-giving Creation-energy’ and the ‘evolutionary Creation-life-energy’, as it was faithfully transmitted to him, Nokodemion, from the Creation-energy plane ‘Arahat Athersata’ 9 billion years ago (according to Earth’s calendar) and is to be taught at all times, unadulterated, in all the universes of our sevenfold Creation. Creation itself is all that exists, all that is, the visible and the invisible, the tangible and the intangible, all that is audible and inaudible, the graspable and the ungraspable, and, in its entirety, everything of every kind and form of existence whatsoever. The Creation is neither a God conceived by Earth-humans nor anything similar, for it is pure and independent evolutionary energy and power, and such a vast realm in its existence that it vibrates not with a single swinging wave, but with many diverse swinging waves, whereby in each of the 7 the Creation universes has its own dimensional vibration, and in turn there are 7 further vibrations for each of the 3 energy belts on one side of the material belt, the cosmos, which also has its own vibration, as do the 3 energy belts on the other side of the cosmos. This implies and teaches that each of the 7 Universes of the Creation consists of 7 energy belts, each with its own vibrations, which are superimposed by the dimensional vibration inherent to each Universe in a different dimensional structure. This means that each of the 7 Universes of the sevenfold Creation is fundamentally so differently dimensioned that one universe does not affect another in any way whatsoever, just as the seven energy belts of one universe, with their vibrations, could not exert even the slightest vibrational influence on one of the seven energy belts of another universe of the Creation. Furthermore, in all seven universes within the cosmos of our sevenfold Creation – as also in all other innumerable creations – there exist, alongside the dimension of the present, countless dimensions of the past and future.

To rule out any misunderstanding: The Nokodemion lineage – that is, the lineage of the teaching – can best be compared to a seamless ‘chain of custody’, whereby the handling, storage and transfer of an object from its securing to its use are guaranteed and documented in terms of integrity and authenticity.

The Nokodemion lineage must never be equated with a family tree, with biological inheritance or with the completely impossible ‘rebirth’ of a specific person (Note: A ‘rebirth’ does not exist, for it always involves the re-animation of a new personality, formed through the processing and further development by the evolutionary Creation-life-energy; that is, not from the Creation-energy that animates the body, but, as explained, from the evolutionary Creation-life-energy, whereby both forms of Creation-energy are inseparably linked.) It is therefore never a matter of a close or distant ‘descendant’ of Nokodemion bringing back the teaching, or of specific personalities emerging from a particular family tree. Rather, the teaching which Nokodemion received from the ‘Arahat Athersata’ plane of Creation-energy was first processed by him in its entirety and in its unadulterated form, that it could be taught to human beings in a way they could understand. Then, after his departure or rather after his death, the teaching was passed on and taught from human beings to human beings and from generation to generation – via preachers who had absolutely nothing to do with any impossible ‘rebirth lineage’ or with a lineage of kinship to Nokodemion – over billions of years, many hundreds of millions of years and even longer periods, so that it has been preserved to this day.

The term ‘Nokodemion Lineage’ follows a perfectly natural human practice: significant achievements and insights are inextricably linked to the name of their originator. One speaks of the lineage of Albert Einstein’s theory of relativity, of the lineage of the Pythagorean foundations of music and harmony, or of the lineage of Tim Berners-Lee’s World Wide Web. Similarly, the lineage of the teaching is referred to as the ‘Nokodemion Lineage’. This naming serves not for personal glorification, but for clear attribution: it points to the pure, original source of the teaching and makes it clear that this is a continuous, unadulterated transmission – that is, the lineage of the teaching itself.

Thus, the teaching of the manifold Creation-energy, the vitalising Creation-energy and the evolutionary Creation-life-energy has been passed down from people to people in the ANKAR Universe and by the Ur-Ur-Ur-ancestors of the Plejaren for eons of years, without any biological offspring or a supposedly and never creation-wise possible personal ‘rebirth’. Yet, even in ancient times, the revival and renewed teaching of Nokodemion’s teaching (which is actually the teaching transmitted from the creative-energetic plane ‘Arahat Athersata’) was therefore referred to as ‘rebirth’, which was evidently completely misunderstood and consequently led to the erroneous conception of a human ‘rebirth’ of human beings was conceived and fantasised. The Nokodemion lineage – whereby the lineage is effectively to be understood solely as the living chain of dissemination of the teaching of unadulterated truth, which had its point of origin in the dissemination within the ANKAR Universe with Nokodemion – continues to this day and will also continue to exist in the future. The teaching is to be taught and disseminated throughout all 7 universes of our sevenfold Creation; consequently, it was also brought to and taught in our DERN Universe and on Earth in Ur-times, yet unfortunately it has been shamefully falsified time and again, consequently also leading to the invention of untruthful lies and religions based upon it, which were disseminated and misrepresented across the Earth and continue to mislead billions of Earth-humans to this day; people who are dependent on faith and thus not free in their decisions, but rather trapped and unfree due to their deluded beliefs. And this will continue to run rampant in the future, and indeed for as long as the majority of Earth-humans, who are trapped by their religious and worldly beliefs and are incapable of freeing themselves from faith and of learning clear understanding through logic and equally clear reason, thereby ridding themselves of a deceitful faith and the associated lies and deceit, and thereby endeavouring to become a true human being who creates true peace and true freedom and also lives them out effectively.

To this end, they must endeavour, on their own initiative, to learn comprehensively, to become good teachers, and to develop themselves to a higher level of knowledge and wisdom. Only in this way can they pass on the teaching purely, clear, also complete, correct, precise and truthful – supported by themselves and a higher intelligence developing within them, and thus to a higher level of Creation-energy, until, in a very distant time in the future, relative perfection is attained, namely through true understanding and clear reason, which must be developed without contradiction.

All this occurs in this manner only when no doubts mar the truth, right up to the point when humanity is dissolved and the evolutionary Creation-life-energy is so highly developed that, together with the animating Creation-energy with which it is totally connected, it becomes incorporeal and enters the creative plane ‘Arahat Athersata’, merging with it.

Although the teaching of Nokodemion imparts a great deal regarding the revitalisation of new personalities, also concerning the vitalising Creation-energy and the evolutionary Creation-life-energy, and also regarding the ‘otherworldly’ realm and much more, this does not mean that it controls or arranges these processes. Just as the theory of relativity has nothing to do with the manipulation of physical processes, so the teaching ‘lives’ its own life within every human being who engages with it. The teaching forms a lineage based on all those who, over time, learn from it and pass it on to others in its unadulterated form.

Since the time when the teaching was first created and disseminated by Nokodemion 9 billion years ago in the ANKAR universe through the instructions of the level ‘Arahat Athersata’, it has been referred to as the teaching of the Nokodemion lineage. Anyone who passes on the teaching lineage of the theory of relativity, the teaching lineage of the Pythagorean teachings, or the teaching lineage of the World Wide Web to others is expanding and thus continuing that lineage. However, it is fundamentally incorrect to understand the Nokodemion lineage as a family tree or a person-based lineage, for the Nokodemion lineage does not refer to a person, but solely to the teaching.

The ‘Teaching of the Truth, Teaching of the Creation-Energy, Teaching of the Life’ came from the ANKAR Universe into our DERN Universe some 25 million years ago, but only reached Earth a few million years ago; however, although it was first taught around 300,000 years ago, it was quickly forgotten and was only revived some 14,000 years ago by a herald, Enoch, taught sporadically and on an extremely limited scale, only to be abandoned and forgotten once more. It was not until millennia later that the true teachings of Nokodemion were taught six more times on the Earth by Plejaren heralds to Earth-humans, who then took them up and taught them anew; yet each time they were so extensively distorted that ultimately, teeming with lies and deceit emerged from them.

The teachings of Nokodemion, or rather those originating from the ‘Arahat Athersata’ level of Creation-energy, have now been disseminated and taught anew on Earth for a long time, just as they are taught on Erra and across the entire Plejaren Federation on all planets, and have been so for nearly 53,000 years, for it had long been ‘out of favour’ among the peoples and was taught only in small circles and groups; however, following a particular event, the teaching of Nokodemion was revived and has since been taught and also observed throughout the Federation.

On Earth, the teaching was imparted by heralds who, since time immemorial, have been mistakenly called prophets; consequently, the lineage of Nokodemion’s teaching has been conveyed to Earth-humans for around 14,000 years by purely earthly heralds and wise individuals, yet has been completely distorted. The last herald of this lineage is ‘Billy’ Eduard Albert Meier, an ordinary Earth-human who now continues the teaching of the Nokodemion lineage – that is, the lineage of the unadulterated transmission of the teaching since the time of Nokodemion. This is despite the fact that he in no way belongs to any lineage of Nokodemion, which died out several billion years ago. ‘Billy’ is an Earth-human, yet he was sought out and chosen over a period of around 300 years and has been instructed in the teachings of Nokodemion for many years by the Plejaren messenger and teacher Sfath.

真正存在的只有一套教導，而它透過Nokodemion脈絡（也就是教導的脈絡）被傳遞下去。其中重要的不是名字、人格或家族血統，而是對原始造物能量教導逐字不失真的傳達與傳授。這一事實，在FIGU的書籍與文獻中都有清楚說明：

The teaching itself is of central importance. The succession of true messengers, peoples and generations serves merely as an informative guide and has no decisive significance.

Every prophet possesses their own Creation-energy and their own form of Creation-energy.

Now to the Terminology and Its Meaning: ‘Goblet of the Truth’ (Section 2, Sentence 322)

«(…) and from among all the wise men there emerged a special wise man, Nokodemion, who reigned as the bringer of the message of the laws and recommendations of the Primordial Source (the Creation) and the laws of appearance (Nature), and as their teacher and warner, and who revived the line of the succession of prophets;»

Explanation: Nokodemion did not conceive the idea of developing and teaching the teaching of Creation-energy, for in reality he implemented the teaching conveyed to him from the creative-energetic plane ‘Arahat Athersata’. Over time, this gave rise to the possibility, in the distant future and also on Earth, of the necessity to be able to carry on this teaching in its unadulterated form. This resulted in the sevenfold line of heralds on Earth (according to the corrected data): In this regard, however, it is necessary to explain that after Henok, the teachings of Nokodemion quickly fell into oblivion and it was not until millennia later that a Plejaren messenger once again attempted to proclaim them on Earth. This was done by initiating a man within an ethnic group who, as the dark-skinned leader of the community, was named ‘Abram’. He taught the Nokodemion teaching within the early community, which called themselves ‘Hebros’. But when Abram then passed away, the teaching was thoroughly distorted and repeatedly passed on and further distorted by new preachers, to such an extent that the teaching was so altered and falsified that the human being’s personal responsibility for his own thoughts, actions and behaviour, etc., was shifted onto higher powers and ultimately onto a God. Consequently, human beings lost their personal responsibility for everything and everyone, also for their own independent thought; thus, ‘truth’ became a matter of faith for them, supplanting reality and its inherent truth, and religious communities arose from this. These ultimately gave rise to religions which, contrary to their original purpose of ‘reconnection’, are in no way oriented towards consequently, neither is life lived in accordance with the reconnecting principle, nor is the teaching of the Creation-energy plane ‘Arahat Athersata’ lived out, nor indeed the true peace and freedom within oneself, which should also be carried outwards and nurtured.

What ensued was that the teaching of Nokodemion was so distorted that, although it was subsequently corrected and proclaimed anew by preachers, it was distorted again over time; and time and again, the whole matter led, in a confused and erroneous manner, to a God, resulting in inconsistencies and unparalleled strife, which even led to wars. This also gave rise to manifold hatred between the various religions that had emerged, which continues to this day worldwide, in some cases in a bloody and fanatical manner, amongst representatives of various faiths.

Explanation: The acquisition of knowledge and wisdom to a respectable level takes time. The ‘herald level’, that is, work or activity as a herald or YHWH, can never be understood as a profession, for it is in every case unpaid voluntary work. To learn the full and comprehensive teaching would take a human being not just a lifetime, but several lifetimes; consequently, it is impossible for a human being to learn the entire teaching. For every Künder, it has always only been possible, through many journeys through time, to educate themselves in accordance with the teaching in a manner that corresponded to the respective understanding and knowledge of the human beings of that time. And when one considers how ‘high’ the general knowledge of Earth-humans was in earlier times here on Earth, then … …

Explanation: The ‘line of the teaching in the same form of Creation-energy (formerly: of the Spirit)’, that is, in the same form of the teaching, will be continued as the ‘unadulterated teaching’.

The whole should be understood as follows: Nokodemion, from his task on the Creation-energy plane ‘Arahat Athersata’ he created the teaching to the extent that it is intended to, and is capable of, helping all human beings, human-like beings and humanoids in their physical evolution of consciousness. He has realised the mandate regarding the teaching to such an extent that it can be taught and disseminated clearly by every messenger, and can also be effectively and correctly understood and logically comprehended by every being of sound mind. Through the development and dissemination of the teaching amongst his people, it – from which the teaching emerged – developed with a living energy and power that began to have an impulsive effect. Also after Nokodemion’s passing, his teaching work, together with his teaching materials, continued to develop among his people; it was expanded, passed down from generation to generation, carried forward, further developed and taught on – always in the original form, which goes back to Nokodemion and his original teaching work, the origin of which, however, was predetermined by the level of Creation-energy ‘Arahat Athersata’. The original form of the teaching is of the utmost significance and importance, for only through it can the impulsive energy and power emanating from the teaching itself and its observance be fully conveyed and also intellectually perceived. Therefore, when reference is made to the “same form of Creation-energy (formerly: of the spirit)" which is continued in the Nokodemion lineage, this always refers to the original, unadulterated form of the teaching – but never to the personality of Nokodemion himself or to an alleged ‘rebirth’ of his person. The teaching and its form far outlast the lifetime of any individual person and have endless validity, as long as every single life-form – a human being, a human-like life-form or a humanoid life-form – exists as a material life-form with a self-aware physical consciousness, only to then, upon reaching the highest attainable state of evolutionary consciousness, enter the ‘Arahat Athersata’ plane of Creation-energy in a disembodied state as true, fully evolved consciousness energy and merge with it.

The teaching can only be passed on, taught and disseminated responsibly and without distortion by a human being who engages with it intensively and comprehensively in a faithful manner and who also follows it personally in his innermost being; that is, who also studies it privately for himself and trains himself to pass on the teaching. This cannot extend across several lives and personalities, for there is no ‘rebirth’, and thus no further, continuous learning of the teaching can be made possible in this way. Further experience of the teaching is only possible for each new personality in a current life if they enter a sphere of life in which the teaching is cultivated and taught, which, at least here on Earth, corresponds more or less to a rarity. Only through a high-level, in-depth education is the necessary assurance provided to thoroughly understand the teaching in the first place and to present it accurately and clearly, to bring it to relative perfection and to pass it on in an unadulterated manner – that is, to teach it.

‘OM’ (Billy’s explanation of Canon 24, sentence 86): “(…) In addition, the YHWH was also responsible for the seven prophets/heralds from the Nokodemion line [line of the teaching], who appeared out of a sense of duty, specifically in connection with the ancient Creation-energy-form of Nokodemion that animated them."

Explanation: The statement that the seven (formerly: ‘prophets’) heralds acted through the “vitalising Creation-energy through the teaching (formerly: ancient spirit-form) of Nokodemion" must not be understood to mean that the heralds were distant descendants of Nokodemion or that their heraldic personalities came into being through his ‘rebirth’ (as such a thing never exists) on the basis of being animated by his animating Creation-energy and evolutionary Creation-life-energy. This is not what is meant, and indeed it is not.

Rather, the teaching developed by Nokodemion – namely, to bring the teaching to a new people and to teach it – has unfolded further and further over time and is a powerful and living reality for the human beings who engaged with it intensively. This was only possible because they grappled with the original form of the teaching.

As Nokodemion taught, the teaching is ‘enlivened’ by the vitalising Creation-energy and the evolutionary Creation-life-energy only to the extent that the teaching of the new line of preachers – which originated from the Creation-energy plane ‘Arahat Athersata’ and transmitted to Nokodemion provides decisive developmental impulses which have been just as effective in the ANKAR Universe ever since as they are here on Earth. This resulted 25 million years ago, when everything led to Nokodemion’s teaching being brought into our DERN Universe and ultimately to Earth, and is now taught on our world. This, then, is the history of the ‘Teaching of Truth, Teaching of Creation-energy, Teaching of Life’, which was developed some 9 billion years ago by Nokodemion on behalf of the plane ‘Arahat Athersata’, brought and taught some 14,000 years ago by the Plejaren Messenger Henok, and which led to the sevenfold line of messengers on Earth.

Guided by the creational laws and recommendations and by collective forms of Creation-energy from higher levels of Creation-energy, life-forms that wish to appear as teachers and prophets are supported and trained in their development.

This makes it clear that the same rule applies here as can be observed in the natural world: the stronger helps, protects and instructs the weaker, and appears precisely where his help is necessary in accordance with the creational laws and recommendations. The falsehoods of ‘reincarnation’, heredity, family tree and the like have absolutely nothing to do with this.

And what I would like to add now is that, at Sfath, using a sort of extremely modern microscope – I do not know how else to describe it – I was able to see for myself and, so to speak, witness and learn how life actually began to emerge from matter, as microbial forms arose from the elements of matter, from rock and minerals, etc., which formed microbial communities and have since persisted throughout all ages and across all time, settling on planets and so on, as was the case, for example, some 4.5 billion years ago on Earth, which, according to the Plejaren, is now about 5.5 billion years old, and not just 4.5 billion years, as Earth’s scientists claim. The microbial communities formed the primitive primordial forms of life proper, with bacteria emerging as a kind of biological cell which – what are they called again – prokinetic cells…

It was many billions of years ago that condensations also arose from the most diverse gases, and in various ways too, which effectively exhibited many different materials and characteristics of different kinds and thus a different composition, as well as being extremely diverse. Everything was of a water-like form, and moreover, everything was such that our scientists cannot even begin to imagine it. All this came about over the course of very long periods of time, spanning many billions of years, during which gases formed from energy and various liquids then developed from these forms; these condensed and became mud-like, which, through further development, formed into a swirling mass and ultimately into solid forms of matter, at a time when there was truly no biological life yet. Then various forms of supposedly dead matter – dead only, as is falsely claimed – began to excrete substances from which biological life developed, which began to breathe and live. Consequently, right from the very beginning – according to scientifically stupid, false and idiotic claims – the supposedly dead matter contained within itself a certain something of a seed of life, that is, the first hint of the origin and the decisive spark from which organic life could develop and also did unfold. Thus, a hard and supposedly ‘lifeless’ matter gave rise to the beginning of biological life, gained in growth, potential and vitality, and formed the origin of the first seed of the becoming of biological existence. Thus, life emerged from the supposedly ‘dead’ matter by breathing life into a germ cell – something like a breath, an ether, an energy and an impulse to act – and a first life-form came into being. It was as if, on a planet or the like, the first cell emerged with the capacity to develop in order to reproduce, thereby enabling it to absorb energy and power from its surroundings to organise itself and, as mentioned, to reproduce.

It is impossible for me to answer if I am to explain what life is, for I can say nothing other than that ‘life-giving Creation-energy’ is what it is, as it animates all biological properties and processes in their entirety, namely of all that exists and thus of every organism. And if the Earthling distinguishes this from every living organism and ‘dead matter’, then he is mistaken, for no ‘dead matter’ exists in a rigid state, as the ‘experts’ claim, who have no idea whatsoever about it, because they have been fundamentally misled into believing that all matter is dead, even though every form of matter is alive, though it may be hard. Everything is subject to constant change and is destined to change, a process that often takes hundreds of millions or even billions of years, for each of the various forms of matter is an active and self-sustaining system of changing energy. Life can only describe, state and explain what it does and that truly everything is alive. This, however, is far from explaining the phenomenon of life, for as human beings we cannot witness how the transition from dead to living matter takes place, as our human lives are far too short for that. In the many trillions of years of the Creation’s evolutionary history, life is a kind of ingredient in that soup of matter that has been developing over billions of years. To find that out, I would have to be able to sort the soup back into its ingredients in order to identify its individual components. Unfortunately, it is not that simple to explain life in this way. And interestingly, I was sent this newspaper article on the subject, which I am sharing with you here to read:

Description of Life

Petra Schwille: “If […] you want to find out, for example, how a car works, you go and take it apart into its components and consider what each little cog might be and what each module does. If we apply that approach to living modules, we face the problem that the system is almost infinitely complex."

But we do not find what we are looking for: life. Where is this life? We cannot attribute a single ingredient, a single spark, exclusively to life. And if we tip all these components back into the test tube, this broth will probably not come back to life. Even though we have died, everything is also still there! So what would it take to restart the machine? Where has life gone? What is suddenly missing?

Life and Complexity

Another attempt at an answer concerns the topic of complexity. Does something start to live if it is simply complex or complicated enough? Does something like a second level then emerge; does quantity become a new quality? Biophysicist Petra Schwille finds this view of life too limited. She explains that even dead matter is also very complex – in fact, much more complex than we think.

另一種對生命的解釋嘗試，則涉及「複雜性」這個主題。某樣東西是否在變得足夠複雜之後，就開始具有生命？是否會因此出現某種更高層次，讓數量最終轉變成新的質量？生物物理學家Petra Schwille認為，這種對生命的理解太過侷限。她解釋說，即使是所謂的死物質，其實也非常複雜，而且遠比我們想像的還要複雜。

For Stephan Grill, complexity is also not an explanation. He is Director at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics in Dresden, and founded the Cluster of Excellence ‘Physics of Life’ at TU Dresden. For him, the uniqueness of life also lies in how this complexity is organised: “We are water. We are biochemical substances. We are proteins. We are matter, […] matter organised in a special way. We are matter that is also capable of continuously consuming energy in order to sustain itself." And once again we find ourselves at the point where we are not really saying what life is, but what it does, how it works. We are describing it once more. For Prof. Grill, an important characteristic of life is that it consumes energy. Another is self-organisation, self-regulation. This means that in a living cell, processes are controlled so that everything runs as perfectly as possible. All processes are coordinated with one another. It is like in a city, explains Stephan Grill: “That means there is a town hall, there are trams, there are roads, there are traffic lights. And to prevent chaos, we have to follow certain rules in the city. And in exactly the same way, the protein building blocks in every cell, or also the cells in a tissue, have to follow certain rules. If they do not, then the collective overall state cannot function. And that is self-organised!"

Life as Self-organised Matter

Life is therefore self-organised matter. But that is, once again, merely a description and not an answer to how a functioning ‘city’ – that is, a cell – emerges from molecules or proteins. “When does a structure become a function? When does order become organisation?" are the fundamental questions here, according to evolutionary biologist Aleksandar Janjic. The blueprint, the instruction manual found in all living cells – that is, the genetic material, the DNA – plays a decisive role in how life functions. Everything is controlled and regulated by it. Is it the key to the answer to our question: What is life?
